HSR on a LT1 with Fogger system inside plenum

I found this article online and thought it was pretty cool!

http://www.revolutionaryperformance.com/projects.htm

they modded AFR LT1/LT4 heads to fit the old style small block bolt pattern, and installed a fogger nitrous system on the outside, as well as a pair of spray bars inside the manifold!

All goin into a Impala SS. This is one crazy setup. We always hear of ppl doing LT1 intake swaps to old small blocks but never something the opposite way around.

HSR LT1 sounds pretty good to me!

Plus the inside fogger system would give better nitrous/fuel distribution throughout the cylinders

If you hang out around LT1 guys enough you'll see that many of them go with SBC heads/intakes. Super Vic, HSR, Super Ram, I've seen them all converted for use on LT1s. That is one of the primary reasons I don't understand why people want to put LT1 intakes on their TPI motors since the LT1 intake is considered a restriction in the LT1 world and they try to swap to SBC suff.

Re: HSR on a LT1 with Fogger system inside plenum

LT1 flows more than a superram or HSR would. i know they made superam bases for LT1 motors, so technically they could have LT1 TPI's if they wanted as large tube runners would bolt to the superam base.

i never reallly seen guys swapping their LT1 intakes out. they generally flow enough to make over 400whp n/a and lots more on spray or boost. i see no need to go different. but its really cool to see something like that hsr sitting in a imp ss
