Looks like the TB is on it. Isn't that a vertical TB shaft sticking down with some kind of linkage connection?

That is the nicest "from scratch" intake I have ever seen, I like how he broke the bends where most people would have welded two corners.
I have considered doing something similar but the goal, for me, would be to end with up with an intake runner length 1/2 way in between the Super ram and the Miniram.
My design is similar to his except the runner's would run across the center of the engine making the #1 intake runner entrance above the #2 cylinder etc.

Same way you remove/install the neck on a TPI

Just looks like the throttle body is too close to the hole to allow any water neck. Might just be the angle.

Yeah it looks like a big AN type fitting on both the water ports in the front. Possibly a remote t-stat like LT1 conversions.
