AFPR vac / boost reference?

Have a Aeromotive 13301 AFPR (new ) mounted direct to rail as mentioned in other HSR post.
Ran today with gauge hooked up. Set at 45psi.
Without vac connected holds at that pressure when reved; no pump or supply problem.
However when vac connected pressure drops at idle as expected but drops further when reved , no load out of gear( lower vac ).
confused:
Any comments
