HSR port match to Brodix Heads

I got a HSR, & ordered some Brodix Track 1's. The HSR ports are smaller than the head port.
My question is, has anyone added material (alum welding) to the top outside of the manifold to bore out the port size to match the heads port size?
Or should I just return it & buy a MiniRam??

Yep many of people have done it. I know that I did open mine up to a 1205 gasket.

Re: HSR port match to Brodix Heads

new HSR's have the added material... now idk if its enough. i have the new HSR and i opened mine up to my patriot 195cc heads which have a 1206 gasket... the stock HSR has a felpro 1205... i removed ALOT of material to portmatch them... now i might have 1/8" of sealing surface for the top of the intake runners... and idk if thats enough to seal it... ima be PISSED if it doesnt seal.

pretty sure u dont have to open up the HSR if the heads are a 1205... they are pretty close to the 1205 stock... if the heads are 1206... u dont have to upen the HSR up unless u want them port matched.

i posted pics of my ported HSR... sumwhere in the aftermarket intake or fabrication section
