Mini Ram TB mod

I'm getting ready to install my Mini Ram into my car and I have a question with the mod that must be done to the TB. TPIS says that you must cut the TB water inlet off to allow proper fit, what did you guys do to plug the hose/port on the heater bypass valve? Thanks

Re: Mini Ram TB mod

Instead of cutting it, TPIS sells a billet IAC housing that does not have the water passages. You can pick them up on eBay for $40.

Take 10 mins and DIY

For the bypasses, it all depends how much of the system you are removing. Hoses are pretty simple so you can wing it with cap/pieces you find at the local parts store

Re: Mini Ram TB mod

Just run a hose from the intake manifold to the heater valve.

The MR has two threaded ports at the front.
CTS goes in one and you just run a new line to the heater using the pipe nipple from of your TPI in the other .
