HSR Fuel pressure regulator leak...but not out of vacuum line?

I'm confused. I searched and everyone says it leaks out of where the vacuum line goes. I'm using the AFPR that comes with the HSR fuel rail kit. I primed the system, and its leaking from underneath the regulator. NOT from where the vacuum line attaches. That only leaves the O ring fitting in the fuel rail. It is tightened securely, and the O ring is not damaged. Is this still a sign of regulator failure? Every thread I search for, it leaks from where the vacuum line goes.

I suppose it could be the fuel line to regulator connection, but it wouldnt suprise me a bit if the regulator body itself were leaking. I wouldnt go near a Holley regulator at this point. Kirban Performance used to (maybe still does) sell an affordable GN-style one that is definitely worth looking into.

Well, I got more time to look at it today. I get it off, and see this. Hmm, that shouldn't be sticking out like that:

I give it a little tug:

I take it that's suppose to be a press fit. Well I hooked it back up, and that's where the leak is. Summit is sending a new one.
