| HSR high iddle issue | Guys need some help here. I put in a 355 with a decent cam, nothing to wild. Put the HSR set up on it. Got the computer redone and all that jazz. I am having issues with getting the iddle to come down. when i first got the engine together and in it was iddling at like 3,000 rpm. then i realized that the Air intake and Coolant Temp sensors were not plugged in. so i put those in. and i replaced the IAC. That seemed to help bring it down to 1500 to 1300 RPM. I have the throttle body turned all they way down(as far as the set screw) I have checked for vacum leaks as far as i can tell it is all sealed. I have the adjustable fuel regulator on the fuel rail and have not messed with that. should i try to turn that down to see if that helps? i am running out of ideas. the engine sounds great but it just will not iddle down. my car is an 86 by the way so i have a MAF. Any ideas would be aprecieated... | | | |
