hsr fast burn 385 problem

I have a problem .. I installed a a new fast burn 385 and hsr on a 1988 gta .. Car runs great revs in park no hesitations but as soon as i put in it drive a rev it , it hesitates and almost stalls .. any ideas what could be wrong?

accel 300+ ign.
timing 12" btdc
fuel pressure 44
msd dizzy
tpis prom
a bunch of standard bolt ons

Sounds like your car has a fuel issue does the car pop thru the air filter or out the exhaust. To me it sounds like ur car is getting too much fuel how do the plugs look? Are they stark white or black? Need more info on your end.

A few people have had problems with the MSD dizzy... including myself. I ended up sending it back and getting a refund, now I'm running a stock replacement dizzy... Check out MSD's website, they have troubleshooting info for it, like how to make sure the magnetic trigger and cap/rotor are in phase with each other, that was what was wrong with mine.
