HSR fuel rail leaking
I am making my own thread on this to get more views.
My rail on the driver's side is leaking at the O-rings above the injectors. The injectors were just serviced by witchhunter and have brand new O-rings. I replaced the O-rings on the driver's side injectors with the blue LS1 O-rings from AC Delco and it sealed for an evening. I used plenty of oil to seat them and worked them on, i didn't force anything. The next day I primed the system and once again I have a leak above the injector for cylinder number five.
I am really frustrated at this point, these fuel rails suck. This is the third problem I have had with them. The first one was on the passenger's side one of the mounting bolts broke before I even got it chased all the way in. The second problem is the retainer for the throttle cable is hitting the elbow on the cross over. I was able to replace that with an E-clip.
I am going to call Holley tomorrow and see if they have any solutions for these problems.

Re: HSR fuel rail leaking
They are Bosch injectors and I am putting them into the rail first as the instructions state. I am using motor oil, shell 15-40 as a lubricant.
I heard back from Holley and they are sending me a replacement fuel rail kit. That is great customer service!

Yes, that's excellent customer service.
I asked about the installation because we have people install the bosch lll's into the intake first to avoid leakage from the rail side. Sometimes it just has to do with the alignment of the injectors when they go into the rail.
Well, good luck. Hope the replacement rail kit gets rid of your problem

Re: HSR fuel rail leaking
Thanks for the suggestion. I have 24lb Bosch injectors but I have a hot cammed motor with vortec heads. Do you recommend a higher flowing injector and if so do you have a link?

Re: HSR fuel rail leaking
I'm not sure what you mean. It is EBL controlled and a stealth ram. The combo should be good for close to 400 horse.

Sorry for the confusion, when I responded to your post, I was so exhausted I should have waited until today..
I actually wanted to know what kind of horsepower you are running.
