I'll be putting Borbet "Design T" wheels on my car in about a month:
Personally, I dont see why everyone and their mother busts one about the TT II's. They look OK, but not compared to some of the other wheels that are out there, and everyone has em. Save a few extra bucks and be unique
I do like the ROHs and ZR1's though. I was set on ZR1's till I saw the Borbets.

I opted for the IROC wheels, the TT II's were slightly out of my price range. I think that these 2 wheel styles are the nicest for a third gen without having to use adapters. I also like the new chrome 10 spoke SS wheels but adapters are needed for these wheels.

He's referring to the American Racing Torq Thrusts. They do look the best on a third gen IMO.
I like the stock 'sleeper' look myself. 16x8 IROCs.

My faves are bone stock "2nd style IROC rims, but tt2's and Firehawk/Ronals are bada$$ too! Check these out...
These are not torque D's...they are painted TT2's. Charcoal metallic custom TT2's for the Tom henry SS.
Me Likes!!!

Its funny, I like the ROH wheels on firebirds better than Camaros, but I like the Ronal "Firehawk" wheels better on Camaros than Firebirds...I like them on the other cars tho,
just a matter of taste,

i'd have to say a clean version of the stock wheels will out shine and get more compliments than any aftermarket wheel out there.
if you have a certain lust for a wheel then by all means go for it.......but if you want something that looks good look to what it came with.
i love custom wheels like the next one, but you just can't go wrong!

Not seeing a large 'bird contingent, my preference is the stock GTA wheel, in black of course.

i think the AMERICAN RACING " LE MANS" wheels were AWESOME!!! too bad they dont make them anymore.. i dont know why... some one needs to find a pic of these..
there was a guy who used to come into my work when i was 20 and had them on a 98 black WS6 17x9's up front.. with 17x11's in back.. and he had the correct back spacing.

yeah, with those, you'll have to keep good looking rotors and calipers or else it won't work
I prefer those on the vettes myself
they look good on the f-body, but they look beter on the C5
