Homemade DRL's??

http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/b/...e_made_drl.htm

Has anyone ever tried this or heard about it. It might be the alternative to actually spending all that money for the real thing. Oh ya and is there a way to take off the parking light housing and making it cleaner because its really dirty and it would let more light shine through. Thanks

DRL, Daytime Running Lights.

Though this seems to have a few flaws though. Can't use the turn signals when the DRL's are in the off position?!?! Not exactly something that you'd want to forget.

When you get the turn singnal out, use a plastic/acrylic polish/compount and a high speed buffer, and they will look brand new.

Email or PM Willie, one of the mods on the history board. He has DRL on his car that he did himself. He also has clear front turn signals that he also made.

Try his website and check it out:

Hope this helps answer your questions. Thomas

Ok I emailed him and it makes sense now. Does anyone have finished pics of this or their own personal DRL mods?
