I have only driven from LA to LV and back home.....all went well, I spent some cash to make sure it made it there and back before I left...this was when I had a V6...got there on one tank too...as for my car now, i wouldnt trust it on a long trip
about 900 miles from Houston to Roswell. Made the trip out here fine. On the way home for spring break, fuel pump decided it wanted to quit. The last 200 miles were made on a U-Haul tow dolly. Never been so pissed in my life.
Yes ive done it and it was no problem. I went to the north of Sweden some 700 km and 700km home again. Its a dream to drive along the highways at high speed during the night=no cops.
I found that on my way home from oklahoma today, if you pass a cop thats going the other direction and your cruising at like 140, he won't even turn around......

no they wont, especially in nebraska. because then they just radio to the plane... "clock em at mile marker etc..." or they radio to the next cop to pull you over. then 5 minutes later the original cop shows up and shows you his radar. i got hit like that in Iowa once... one cop pulled me over, then the one i saw a couple hills back came rolling up.... (i was only doing 15 over though) never 140. rs. off at 110 - no motivation to go over than anymore...
I took my Iroc, not driven in the winter, down to Florida 2 years ago. I checked all the fluids, sensors, etc. before I took the trip. Everything checked out fine and I had no problems once I hit the road. Enjoy the ride!!

good, I'll keep that in mind on my way home this summer through west texas no more cooling problems = record time home
really the longest i went in the bird was aurora colorado to windsor colorado it's usually like a 3 hour drive at the speed limit me and my dad went out to look at an 85 monte carlo ss i was planning on buying it was like 2 lanes almost the entire way for the most part we were cruising at 90-95 and it was windy but still only took an hour and 45mins. we had a chp officer behind us most the time like he was drafting with us or something open road our cars are awesome
