So has anybody ever considered putting yenko stripes on a third gen? Im sure it would require some modification to a new graphics kit, but I think it would look pretty nice. What do you guys think, good idea, or desecration of a classic?
you would just have to curve the stripes a little bit to go with the body or it would look weird but it's a cool idea. I like thinking of our cars as classics instead of hickmobiles, just makes them that much funner.
i think ive only seen one older car with the yenko stickers that why i didnt know what they were.........im not even sure what kind of car it was but im pretty sure it wasnt a camaro

Yenko built camaros, novas, and a bunch of other old chevy cars.
Because the Yenko establishment is out of business. Don Yenko died in the early 80's in a plane crash. His family did not continue the auto business. The last Yenko conversion was on the 81 Camaro. (pic Below)
Since there has been an uprising on the 2002 Camaro with the ZL1 Supercar and the other Berger cars, Dana, Nickey, Baldwin/Motion and the Yenko estate are all in discussions on having a 4th gen "Supercar" built. We already have the Berger SS and the Berger built ZL1, we just need to wait and see what the others can resurrect.
Damn, this thread took off in the whole day i was away from the computer. Thanks for the responses guys, so far it seems like the general opinion is in favor of the idea.
I don't have any set theme with my car, but when I do something to it I always ask myself how GM would do it. Then I try to improve upon that concept. I think it would be really cool to have a 3rd gen with safety equipment such as airbags, ABS, HUD, Factory keyless entry/alarm, Bose Gold system, and 17/18" rims. I may go in that direction as time and money allow. We shall see I guess
