Great looking TA there. I love the decals on that car, especially on the power bulge.

that is the orginal hood decal for the car. I think it was only used in 83 though. not quiet as prnounced as the huge screaming chicken decal used on other years

Thats a factory decal. I mostly seen it on Recaro's and 15th Anniversary T/A's. You can somewhat see it in the pic.

Those look like the original turbo cast wheels with the bowling ball hubcaps, otherwise known as the KITT wheel.s

Premium fuel? Why are you wasting your money on that? Our cars don't have the compression to warrant premium fuel. Unless of course you have another engine rather than stock. I have an 82 so your car is fairly similar to mine all we need is 87 octane. There is no benefit at all from putting in anything other than that. This is an excerpt from the following Octane FAQ ]OCTANE FAQ[/URL]
If you are already using the proper octane fuel, you will not obtain more power from higher octane fuels. The engine will be already operating at optimum settings, and a higher octane should have no effect on the management system. Your driveability and fuel economy will remain the same. The higher octane fuel costs more, so you are just throwing money away.
Just trying to save you some cash =)

I have tried 87 and too much pinging for me. I do have a 10:1 compression ratio and it is not completely a stock engine. Had a few mods to get it back together.

The Trans Am took about 4 years to find one with all the right options and in restorable condition + low miles. The D was alot of research and 14 years later and there it sit(only 11k miles) my only two dream cars.

armac, I just have to say that it is great to see an 83 in such nice shape. It is nice to see that you put it back to the factory appearance.

It really looks right at home with the Delorean too, nice pair!
