How do i fix this.. this... look

Alright guys, when i look out my bedroom window to check if my car is still there, i always get caught up in how the tires just look so damn small. I mean they look tiny IMO. What would fix this, lowering or bigger wheels?

Shane, I think thats the best pic of your car I've seen. Thats a nice ride! Keep it clean.

If i were you and felt I had to do something, I'd lower it an inch or two tops.

Cutting your springs is definitely not the answer...no offense, but cutting springs is a stupid idea. Regardless, lowering is a good idea so are bigger wheels, just maybe not 19"s =) A set of 17" wheels would fill out everything nicely.

well cutting the springs would be a temporary solution, to test how muhc lowering i need for the look i want. then i buy real springs.

so lowering, hmmmm how do you get up ramps without scraping, when its even lower then stock. I have a hard enough time already.

I'll talk to him in a few see what kinda springs he can hook me up with.

I'm thinking 4th gen WS6 wheels i like them in chrome, he said he could get me soem for $100. he owns 3 junkyards here in jax so....

front looks fine

needa beef up the back a bit imo

put some fat tires on the back what do you got on there now? 2XX/50/XX put some 2XX/60/XX in the back it will fill the gap and make your car look sweet with the front low back high

my driveway is pretty steep, anf roads in jacksonville are steap, when i said ramps i meant steap hills or whatever.

and my boy just quoted me on those springs again. $20. But he wants the old ones.

You can lower your car and have the exact same ride height as before. You just need to choose the right tire. I lowered my car about 1.5" but added 26" tall tires. The center of gravity changed but the ride height didn't. If you want wider/taller tires get some. That is how you fix that. Or is there something more that we need to divulge into?

Like night and day difference. The center of gravity of the car is lower and the car becomes more stable. You need to get different tires if you want the ride height to be the same. Your current tires are 25.64" tall so lowering would make your car look similar to this.

Car: too many ...
If you cut the springs right then it'll be fine. Most people cut them wrong, thats why they have a bad reputation. But dont expect some huge drop or something. The purpose of cutting the stock springs is to increase the spring rate, not decrease the ride height. So if you're looking for a certain looks or something, then yeah probably better to buy something. But if you want it a little lower, and a lot stiffer, FOR FREE, then cutting the springs is fine (as long as you do it the right way). Main key is not to apply heat to the coil as the metal will no longer be tempered properly meaning the spring rate goes down instead of up. This is why those guys that used torches and whatnot to cut the springs bounce all over the road. Other key is to cut all the springs evenly in small increments. Just remember that you can't go back and un-do a cut, so do it in small increments and feel the difference. When I did mine, I cut them 1/4 coil at a time. And cut them all evenly to ensure they have the same rates (or are close). I actually have a Sportline Kit sitting in my garage, but instead I run cut FE2 springs on my car. I prefer the higher linear spring rates (though its not dropped as much as the Sportlines).

add it to "the list" and call it a day. Might want to put a cold fusion reactor on there too.

Get 17's and 2" drop up front... 1.5" drop out back and drive slow over stupid crap.
