To each there own, but I think you gave up a very nice head turner of a third gen for another, average looks like all the rest 4th gen firebird formula.

I can see where you're coming from... but his new formula isn't your average 4th gen by any means. Look at the paint...

Ok looked again, I can see where it looks blue in a few pics and green in others but I am trying and cannot see anything special about the paint. He's got some nice mods and knowing him it will be even nicer in the future. Looking at the car I just don't find it as eye catching as his third gen was.

Don't get me wrong theres plenty of arguments for why his new car may be better than what he had, this is just my opinion. I think the third gen had alot more character. 85MAROZ28 got a nice score. Park his third and fourth gen side by side, see which one gets more attention.

ya youre right. my (edit: ex thirdgen) thirdgen is better looking than my fourth. But both are just rims. none have anything different than the other. So the thirgen isnt necessarily "special" and the 4th gen isnt plain in comparisson.. but there are plans for the fourth if i keep it. I already got the ram air hood for it, need to paint it. and im gonna order 17x11" TTIIs. then lower it a bit. Guaranteed it will look sweet. The main reason i choose my 95 over my 89 is coz i already have a 383 LT1 stroker fo rthe 95, and i know i can make it look just as nice as the GTA

As for the paint on the 95. Well, its is a flip flop colour. its blue/green chameleon. But its FACTORY. Not my first chjoice in colours but it grew on me.

Anyways i may sell the 95 and buy a 91/92 fbody convertible. Or a Grand National....or a vette.....something different for me

Wow that can handle 11" rims without mods? You could have put that stroker into third gen, but its an easier swap into the 4th. Its true, other than paint, ride height, and wheels, the third gen on the outside was stock. Those simple mods made it look nicer than stock by a good deal however, especially since most third gens on the road are beat to hell these days. I guess I just like the body style of third gens better.

I am sure you will end up turning that Formula into something special. I like all the cars on your next hit list though. I have been thinking alot about a thirdgen vert, and the GN's are always a mean looking car when done right, and the C4 Vette is the route I plan to go when this GTA gets handed down to my son.

Yeah I here you, I got quite a few years left yet to determine if he would be ready for it. I agree though this is probably a bit much for a first car for most 16 year olds.

d00d, you sold the car mine was modeled after!!!!!! how dare you

and mine is my first car, i got my licesne june 9th 2004. Many of you dont know that but i did. No accidents yet, one ticket(going 70 in a 55MPH zone), and accidents are hard to come by, i'ma scary driver, but i'm careful. I dont play around unless its clear. But, there have been my share of close calls, but they were the first 4 days i had it. YOu learn relaly fast.

But congrats on the buy d00d, if i knew he was selling it, man i woulda wanted it. That car is awesome. I modeled my color after it. I tried my best to stear clear of that car after the color but those rims look so damn good. It all goes together on that car. Congrats d00d.

Rob, i think that was your name, why did you sell it?

i've been alright lately. No close calls, it was relaly just gettign use to driving by myself. I'm a good driver, no accidents or even close to getting an accident, just times i've gone throguh intersections and spun out, and gone out of stop signs and did donuts, and stuff like that. thats all. No biggie. They;ve seased since i learned howto drive more. I had my learners for 366 fn days before i got my license, it was a leap year.

I drove right into a speed trap, they pulled over 5 of us at the same damn time. all of us were going 15 over. Then they pulled others ina gorup. I've learned to not drive in the fast lane on that road now, because thats where the lazer was pointed on the fast lane only.

I'm a good driver, my gf used to not let me drive her anywhere, she was too afraid of my stories. but now shes cool she thinks i'm a great driver.

And the close calls were all learning expereiences. You gotta have them or you lose out on actuall experience.
