Huge tire. Will they fit?

I have just purchased a set of ROH RT black Ice wheels. They are 18x9 and 18x10. 0mm font offset 5" back and 5mm rear offset 5.75 back. Anyway the dealer recommended 295/35 rears and 275/35 or 40 fronts. This seems a bit large for the car. He said that many third gen owners run this setup with only minimal rub at full lock. Any comments??? Suggestions???
