LT1 plastic covers with a converted LT1 intake?

This is just a thought that crossed my mind the other day and I thought I'd throw it out here.

Would LT1 intake covers even fit on a converted LT1 intake?

And does anyone make custom covers with whatever you want written in there instead of the usual Corvette, or LT1 logo's? If they did I'd want one that says L98 to add a little confusion. Plus its so hard to hide my harness cleanly.

Having had those covers modified to fit my LT1 Caprice (Impala SS clone) motor, I can say that IF they fit, they'd be somewhat hacked up and not look very nice. The way the coolant passages come up would interfere with how they lay on there.

..but, where there is a will there is a way...

Mallory Billet Aluminum makes "plates" that lay over them in place of the "Corvette" for various cars - not sure I've ever seen a 3rd gen version though.

The distributor in the back would also interfere with them... Don't think it would be worth it.
