Honestly, I've owned and painted both, if you want flashy and showy, go with the lambo orange, if you want something more subdued and classy, go with the gto orange. I almost went lambo orange on my bird but I fell in love with an orange 05 gto. I figured if I missed out on the car at least I could have the color lol...

Here's a good shot of the lambo orange when the sun hits it...

And another in not so direct sunlight...

As you can see it's more of a reddish color, the words actually translate to "magic red mica" in english. But, it looks really freakin awesome in the right light. The GTO orange is more subtle and classy. Either one is awesome, just depends on what you're looking for...

Actually, that's the old lambo orange from the Diablo era, the new one is much more tangerine color. I didn't like that one at all. The color I'm using is 2004-2005 Arancio Atlas.

Why yes it is, I had no idea they changed it in 04, explains why yours is more subtle.

Nope, not the pic quality, it really looks like that in the right light (the older one anyhow...). The GTO orange is definitely the cheaper of the two

No problem at all. I think you will be happy with GTO, especially if you go with a two tone paint, but even a single color will look really nice. If you take some extra cash ($200-$300) to the body shop, you can have them add whatever pearl you want to the clear and give it some extra flavor, maybe add some small metal and some flop too.

Jeckyll & Hyde is the perfect name for comparing the old and new looks. I think you should keep the stock tail light look. With the tinted rear window, you need the contrast of the tail lights in there. My personal opinion is that a custom car needs to retain small pieces of the stock look in there. When they're all custom, they stop being F-bodies.

Make sure to take before and after interior shots.
