Re: Batmobile Camaro on Mythbusters

It looked like an 88 or 89 RS, could have been a V6 or a TBI V8. It also looked beat to hell with worn out parts. That, plus a novice driver, would explain a lot.
Have you tried to make a right hand turn to the inside lane at 30 mph? I usually slow down to 15 or 20, and accelerate at the apex.

Nasty tires will make it push like that, it didnt look like it had led a very charmed life either, kind of makes me sad to see a thirdgen abused like that....

Re: Batmobile Camaro on Mythbusters

well, if you guys watch the show, we all know none of them can drive.. lol... so when she got behind the wheel... i knew there was going to be some problems with her driving.. lol

in anycase, what they were doing was cool, but they need to move the cable to be infront of the CG of the car... just behind the front wheel should work.
with the cable being where it was at.... it was trying to stop the car, not turn it....

then again.... think about this.. its enough force to snap that cable... we know thirdgens, so my question is... what did they weld it to?! LOL i bet that floorpan is a bit.... distorted. LOL
