Best 18" iroc replicas???

Looking to buy a set of 4 18x8 iroc replica wheels. chrome of course. I've noticed a few different places on ebay selling them, and was wondering who has bought them before and from who. also how are they holding up?

customwheelsmarket (first line)
without tires- $719 shipped
with tires 245/40 nexen 3000's - $1209 shipped
2 year warrantee on finnish, lifetime structure.
comes mounted and ballanced, ready to bolt on.

sport-trucker (FIRST LINE) brand
without tires- $609.95
just says full manufacturer warantee.
i get to pick out tires and get them mounted. tirerack has some decent prices. and their right down the road, so no shipping, just tax.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-IR...QQcmdZViewItem

they both claim to be firstline wheels. they seem to have different centercaps or logos on them. would i be better off getting just the wheels from the cheaper place and getting better tires with the difference?

just want some input for others who have made the choice before.

I was going to go with Z06's but dont want to spend the money on spacers

That second one appears to be from American Racing - their Vintage line.

Re: Best 18" iroc replicas???

I bought a set of 18's from customwheel (eBay) and put Nitto 555's on them that I bought from Discount Tire Direct. The center caps that the wheels come with arent anything special. Replaced those with OE IROC caps.

Customwheel also threw in a compete set of chrome lug nuts with my purchase. Just have to ask.

Re: Best 18" iroc replicas???

I'm not a fan of the chrome look (except on 1st gens and early 2nd gens which had chrome parts). Do they also come in the machined surface look? Or even as an exact replica with the painted grey inner surfaces (for example)?
Just curious.

Re: Best 18" iroc replicas???

I dont like 18's on thirdgens, and the chrome IROCs are too narrow to pull off the big wheel look.

Have you seen the SLP ZR1s? They're still only 8 inches wide, but at 17 inches it doesnt look bad.

Re: Best 18" iroc replicas???

well i went ahead and ordered my wheels and tires. their going on my daily driver, so i didnt get a racing tire for them. just a decent tread compound and design. i went with 245/40ZR18's front and back. they are the american racing version of the wheel. should be exelent quality. hope to have them really soon so i can mount them and finally drive the car again.

InfernalVortex-
you wanna come have a look at these wheels and see if you want them? wont be able to let you have them til i get my new wheels. how close are you to me? ill get pics of them when i get a chance.
