Maaco (haha)

so pretty much i sent my 92 in there last friday.. and i swear they are not the brightest crayon in the box.. my doors sagged really bad, and they say we needed new hinges and wanted us to pay $400 per side.. so we told them that was a no, and they had their "hindge specialist" looking at it, well someone left the key on in the car (idk for how long) but there was a sign saying not to open the door, and they were trying to say the key itself was off, and the reason the ebreak light was on and there was power to the radio was because they didn't pull the key all the way out.. i tried telling them this isn't a newer car and doesn't have that feature.. and he asured me that that was the case... and not to worry.. so after they walked away i pulled the hood (was aftermarket so it wasn't completely fitted right) and i pulled the positive battry cable then before i left i let them know so they wouldn't sit there trying to figure out the obvious.. kinda just venting.. i'm only 17.. but i've read up on 3rd gen camaro's.. and i own 2 lol.. so someone telling me that i'm the one that's ilinformed i tend to get a little mad.. gotta say tho.. they did a good job so far with the prep work.. just aligning the body panels a little more and it's all ready for paint.. hopfully this time next week it will be done and i'll post some pics..

Re: Maaco (haha)

haha, dont you just love the nice shine primer has after a nice "wash".

also I did my door hinge repair with the kit from TDS, its really easy to install and well worth it imo, but $400 a side for macco to do it is crazy!

Re: Maaco (haha)

Re: Maaco (haha)

Aside from general BS'ing about Maaco, there is no question or tech value, Body, A&D or even Aftermarket Review as the car isn't painted yet) wise.
If you want to post pics after the paint job, please do so in the 'Members Rides' forum.
