Camaro Tail end (Lights, spoiler etc) with Firebird hood and flip ups with a firebird/Camaro front bumper. The hatch is more of something you sould see on a Dodge Daytona/Misubishi starion.
Pretty cool none the less. If I remember I'll try to take some pics tonight if no one else has by then
I saw this too all different paint schemes. I wanted to post this but wasn't sure where. pics soon
werd... theres really no lounge here for regular BS and thise is one of the more viewed sections.... ill take pics laterz... theres all kinda cool cars regal T-type with turbo spool sounds and modeled turbo underhood
It is a CAMARO/FIREBIRD as it has a Pontiac emblem on the front of the car...
THE C6 VETTE is in the game
THE COUPE AND VERT VIPER SRT-10 are in the game
Nissan Silvia S15 Drifter is in the game
ODD SPORTS CAR THAT BURNS THE TIRES THROUGH 3 GEARS, that I cant find anymore...is in the game
There is also this weird *** skinny car i found....its looks like a streched wagon but cut in half and blended together....its like 2 feet wide...haha but 15ft long...you have to find it, its funny to drive.
Hopefully the game is out on pc, otherwise won't be near as fun. Back when I used to waste my time playing video games, I used to only play GTA:SA&3 so I could modify everything in it, download cars(like KITT) and stuff like that.
the buffalo is kinda... bulky.. didn't really look like it.. this one looks pretty dang close.. can you modify the car in shops like you could in san andreas? i need to go rent it.. and as for the PC version, my computer was too slow but my friend had it on his computer and the vehicle mods you could do on there were tight, like the american flag camaro and what-not..
I spent alot of time trying last night trying to find a black one with see through T-tops and that didn't have the firebird bump on the hood. The closest one I found has a gold set of side skirts. I think My car had these originally any how. After I finally found it I noticed as I was parking it in front of my safe house that it has very similar wheels that my car has. (Monte Carlo wheels.)
Don't have pics of the wheels in the game but you can sorta see them in some of the pictures that were taken.
The 'Buffalo' in St. Andreas was one of the faster cars in the game... the 'Ruiner' is kinda average. Also, the 'Buffalo' looked more aggressive and more like just a Camaro than trying to blend a Camaro/Firebird for the 'Ruiner'.
Little bummed the game doesn't have mod shops like the previous GTA's had.
I like that license plate pic someone posted from the game... "Ruining Imports Since '67". I've never seen that before, that's awesome!
I may get one soon as well, unsure if I want the slim or not. I probably will since the new processor uses less power and the fans are a lot quieter (not that the regular bulky PS3 fans are loud when compared to the xbox 360 fans) but they are quiter now. Only change from the Slim and the bulky guy is 120gb drive instead of 160gb (but can be swapped with a simple flip of a clip, slide of the bottom tray and unhook the old and in with the new (500gb, 1tb whatever you choose). The fans are quieter and you can't install your own OS (So you linux guys, no slim for you). Less power consumption from the cpu's. Still plays dvd's, cd's and blue ray. Still has 2 usb ports. Its all good, oh and it has the new PS3 logo as well.
I think I may wait until I get my new TV though. 32" LCD 2.7ms, 100,000 dynamic ratio, 1080p, 120hz refresh rate..and for $700...AWESOME.

I just bought one myself due to the price drop. Couldn't justify $400, but $300 just seems a little easier to swallow
Exactly... I still need to see if there's many games I'd play on it. I mostly play MVP '05 on my PS2, along with the occasional GTA: Vice City, Gran Turismo 4, and my Guitar Hero games. I know for sure I'd play the upcoming Beatles Rockband. One question to those who have a new PS3: How do the graphics of the PS2 games look? I've heard that they don't transfer over very well.

unless you got an early PS3, PS2 games do NOT work on the system. They got rid of the backwards compatibility somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd generation of hardware.
I was afraid that's what somebody was going to say. Looks like I'll have to keep both systems around. I was going to get an XBox 360 because of that, but I hear the failure rate on those are really high, so I'd probably get the PS3.
IMO the PS3 is a better processor but the 360 has alot more games for it. I personlly have a 360 and have since it came out. I bought the "pro" or something like that it was a step under the "elite" one. I did get the red ring of death but microsoft fixed that and sent me a new one. The new one works perfect and havent had a problem since. My lil brother has a 360 also(i convinced him to move up from the ps2 so i could kick his *** online from the other room...lol), and his has worked flawlessly. I personally think the biggest problem with the 360 is the cooling. I would just suggest going out and getting one of those laptop cooling pad things and plug it into the usb on your 360...i did that and it runs so much better espically online. Just my .02 cents
The 60gb PS3 is the only one that has backwards compatibility and also the only one with 4 usb's up front as well as the micro sd and flash cards in the little flip open area up front (which has since been sealed shut and only 2 usb's are on the newer systems). I know a couple places selling the 60gb PS2 capable PS3 for around $500+.
My whole thought on the xbox 360 is, how did they make something with the error code of (red rings) and still bring it out thinking that error just might not come up?, so in all Microsoft knew these systems would fail otherwise they wouldn't have needed to have these error codes. Yes the turnaround is quick, but so un-needed. I have yet to hear ANYBODY with a PS3 have any sort of problem at all. Not bashing as I plan to get a new Elite version as well as the new PS3. I love the selection of X360 games but damn, fix your hot running, high decibel fan spinning system and at least try to make the 360 seem like not so much of a loss.

$500+? ouch! If I get a PS3 I will definitely keep my PS2. I wonder why they did away with the backwards capability? I mean, if they want you to shell out that much money for a game system they should at least make it not necessary for you to keep around your old system too.

I saw those links a few weeks ago and that's what made me decide NOT to get an XBox 360. I was leaning toward one though because I had always heard that the online gaming was a lot better, but I don't think I'd like having my system bite the dust on me. It seems kind of funny that my 25 year old NES still works like a charm, yet a brand new Xbox 360 has a failure rate of 50%.
i cant wait to build it up and drag it... yes drag racing in this version!
GTA firebird/camaro car is awesome but i hardly ever see it. i think i wrecked too many of them
I just looked at some screen shots for this game. It looks awesome. Didn't see any pics of third gen camaros, but I did see a few pics of the '69 Camaro, and what looked to be a Fox Body Mustang Cobra. Just another thing to make it harder to pick between an XBox 360 and a PS3.
I REALLY hope that they have an 88 Trans Am in there. I would LOVE to kick *** in my car online, since all I drive now is muscle cars... I love listening to those English people yelling because I am beating them in their Peugeots with a 73 Trans Am 455 around mugelleo.. I have over 600+ hours playin that game too.. I cant even imagine how many im going to have on Forza 3, especially if they have a thirdgen T/A...
