If the wheel in the picture above is the set you got "for free", then I would advise you to NOT paint them in any sort of way. They are worth a ton of money. I've seen the center caps alone sell for over $100 for just ONE SINGLE center cap.

That can't be right, can it? Maybe a thirdgen Firehawk Ronal center cap, but not a 4th gen? The wheel in the photo is one of a set that I have. They ARE expensive rims, and they ARE very hard to find with charcoal spokes. They were used on the early LT1 Firehawks, but most of the rims had polished spokes. Mine and one other set are the only charcoal ones I've ever seen in person or online.

So no, don't paint them.

I'm dead serious about those caps lol. They were early LT1 Firehawk caps, and I saw them sell on ebay. I was watching the auction the entire time, it must have been about a year ago or so.

When you say pair, do you mean only 2 or the whole set of 4? I'll buy them for $200

Re: 4th gen firehawk rims

If it is 17" rims which I think they r and 8.5 they fit with no spacers. When I bought my 92 they had a set of vett rims on it. The rims were 10 and they were running a 2.5 spacer behind them. Word of advice if you have any kind of power under the hood you do not want spacers. You will break them every time you get on it. I know I am speaking from experince on that. I sold the rims to a guy with a 4th gen camaro they fit on his with no spacers. So if you need some spacers I got some I could hook you up with. Just let me know something.

You should see some pics from him before you lay out your dough. Fire can be hard on wheels.
