Re: Yearone Snowflake 17x9 wheels

I saw them last night. Their site said they were taking orders and they'd be ready in Feb. 09. I'm seriously considering getting a set. It's one of the few things I've seen from Yearone with a reasonable price.

Re: Yearone Snowflake 17x9 wheels

look great on a 2nd, decent on a 3rdgen but so many better choices for a thirdgen however that's just opinion. not right for a camaro but firebird pick them up! $700 for 17's seems a bit expensive though as 18's are going for that price nowdays. they should be closer to $500 or less.

I think $700 is a very fair price.

And really I'm kind of sick of seeing C5 C6 vett wheels. But thats my

Re: Yearone Snowflake 17x9 wheels

If I still had my 79 t/a,I would pay $700 for a set of original 15's before I bought those cheesy 17" knockoffs.
Thats just my opinion. Those wheels just don't look right period AFAIK.

Re: Yearone Snowflake 17x9 wheels

I was just thinking of these today, and if they came in any other size besides 18" The 17's don't look bad, they look a lot like the original 15's, more so than the 18's, which look more flat. I would seriously consider a set since I've been trying to get a nice set of 15x8's, but I always kind of wanted a bigger wheel. any way to get these in 16's?? or is 17" the smallest??

ooops....just read the fine print. The wheels pictured are not the year one wheels In that case I'll have to agree with the previous poster. I don't like the flat look to them........

Yah, I checked out your links again after posting, and noticed they have the billet aluminum rims, and reproduction aluminum rims. I didn't notice the reproductions snowflakes at first...I guess this is what you were talking about all along? Those I would actually consider getting, in the 17" size. 15's go for the price of 17's on ebay, if not more, in the same condition. I think they would really look sweet on a thirdgen firebird.

Ya thats what I was talking about.

I plan to get a set in silver for my 81 TA.

(I was going to do the 18" ban III wheels but dam almost 900 per wheel is way to much for me.)
