I think there is a way to straighten them out. E mail Jason, I'm sure he'll tell you what to do.

it was either Northern tool or harbor freight. any hardware store should have it tho. if you have a old set practice on them first, you dont want to burn it.

Re: KLEARZ taillights

Damn Kenny, that makes me feel bad.

I didn't want to say anything until I got mine exchanged, but, mine came in as well (last month) with 1 lens slightly darker than all the rest, now because I am a perfectionist I noticed it but others probably wouldn't have. I am waiting to have mine exchanged. I will email Jason today to see whats going on.

Mine fit very nicely though, very nicely, and as far as scratches, mine had a few but ever so minor. Overall a 7/10 for the set I received.

Emailing now.

Now how do people know you are backing up? This could even be a problem.

Okay here is the deal.

Nobody get on me or email KLEARZ about this.

When we started this GB, we sent in (Kris did actually) a set of tails, which when they showed up had a piece missing in the corner wrap around, and were scratched pretty heavily.

Jason at KLEARZ spent numerous amounts of time to buff and get these lenses as smooth as possible. Now in some cases (such as mine but I wont get mad or cry about it) you will see some scratches at certain angles.

Also these lenses take 1-2 months to fully cure. Kenny wanted his NOW, so they were sent before they could fully cure, thus once they hit the heat and cold and moved in a box over and over, they deformed, but CAN be brought back easily to flat and smooth with a heat gun and some more buffing.

Jason stated as well as I did in the beginning that if some come messed up EMAIL him immediately, in which some did not do and essentially whined about a bad product and gave it bad reputation.

I am not bashing anyone but these things take time, so when we rushed Jason to get ours out, some were deformed and/or scratched. I have been waiting the longest and still have yet to get mine (officially). So all in all, the last sets are the last sets. I suggest waiting a couple more weeks to order or if you do order them, BE PATIENT. We cant have everything and surely cant have everything NOW.

Also, once the last sets are gone, that's it, no more sets are being made.

Take care

When I put the gear in reverse, haha....I don't think I fully understand why you asked that?

The lenses aren't completely smoked black, but a nice clear smoke

I'm talking about the clear lenses for the reverse lights. If the lights are completely smoked or smoked red.. then the other driver might not even know what you are doing.

I understand now. I guess watch where you backup then...haha.

If I got smoked red all across I would just be cautious. It may be hard to back out of a busy street from a driveway because of this but, its what he wanted.

There was not enough interest to get it done. I started a thread for it but only got like 3-4 people. He will not be doing anything more for us after the last sets are gone.
