My engine bay..

So the previous owner did a swap from a 305tpi to a 350carb and decided to leave the wires everywhere so I cleaned it up a little. Now I plan on getting cut to fit plug wires with the vertical mounts on the heads. Then a new air cleaner because he painted the chrome and it is chipping off and I don't really like the look of it anyways. Also need some valve covers. I can't find many, as I dont really want chrome or alum. I would like to have some black powdercoated ones, which I found by edelbrock that has a matching air cleaner but it isn't for center bolt heads.

Re: My engine bay..

I might be wrong but I didnt think the 350 had center bolts, I thought that was the 305. Did you check the casting numbers on the block. Everyone has a 500hp 350 till its on the dyno.LOL

Re: My engine bay..

FueledSoul's valve covers looked pretty sweet but I'd rather have black powdercoat.

Re: My engine bay..

any 350 after 87 had center bolt valve covers.....
which also means hyd roller cam, 1 piece rear seal..

for vale covers you can get an adapter kit for like a 100.00 so you can use the old style covers, which have a lot of options.

engine bay looks a 100% better....keep going

Re: My engine bay..

any engine can have center bolt heads.. it isnt the engine that has the center bolt, its the heads. you can have an 1985 350 and put 1989 heads on it and have a center bolt head. (changed to center bolts in 87 i believe.)
