I want to know who actually makes the Superduty hood. I already know who sells it.
Got a picture of the showcars IMSA hood? The showcars website sucks. Their picture looks like an every day Formula. The picture is so bad it's like there is something to hide.
The IMSA is basically just a mirrored Formula hood....
As for their site...Yeah. Sucks big time. As long as the product is good, I don't care.
I could say the same about a certain TGO Sponsors site. Looks decent, but very hard to find anything, with all its half-assed item descriptions. But as long as the stuff is god & he sells me the right thing? I don't care.
Here are two of the ISMA hood on my car. Mine was made by Baldwin, but they don't make them anymore. Until I saw that restore and custom link, I didn't think that you were even able to buy the hood anymore.
No, I don't think that it's the hood latch. Look at everything else on the hood, it all lines up. Just the very front edge is curled up. Look's like the hood is slightly deformed to me.

I wish to apologize to all the guys who asked for pics of the IMSA. I'm just a shiftless lazy person and I haven't taken any in ages. I did move the car to the center of my two-car garage. Now there are five cars parked on the street (and two in a shop and another two at the farm.)
I will start working on it very soon and I promise to post pics then. I even ordered a folding engine crane, large sandblasting cabinet, and MIG welder. I suppose I'll be forced to work on it now that I've spent so much on equipment.
Cheers!
