Oh yes, they desperately need to be polished. Your from the same area as me, and I'm sure you can confirm the awesome weather we had yesterday (hell it's almost 80 degrees right now), and you could literally see the pollen being collected just minutes after I wiped the tail lights down for this pic! It's a bad time of the year to have a Black plaint job lol....
Love those tail lights. Wish I could get my hands on a set for my 88 GTA.

yea, its been a beautiful couple days. Took my car out for a spin, now the car is covered with pollen, and the bumper is plastered with bugs
Nice, I wanted to get those style tailights for my 88 formula. Not sure how much "modding" is required tho, maybe a tutorial somewhere.
The only real requirement is the 91-92 harness that is specific w/them. You can make them work with your stock harness, but the outer amber directionals will be on all the time though, and they won't blink when turning (the red ones next to them will in their place), but you can just pull their bulbs out until the correct harness is obtained....
I got a nice polished set laying around, has "pontiac" going across, not sure why yours dont, maybe a different year, think mine is from a 92 trans am.
Arent these pretty rare? need to find a harness, shouldn't be hard.
