Not the best pic but gets the point across. You dont need nothin special to put a big radiator in. These cars come stock with big radiators so ones like my 4 core B cool fit right in.
Blue Beast...electric blue pearl coat?

BlueBeast,
Nice looking engine bay. I really like the color and the smooth firewall. Nicely done.
Thank you. The paint is off a 95 Corvette. Every time I chased one down to ask what color that was they all looked at me like I was crazy and said blue. I finally got it figured out, not to bad for a 13 year old paint job. I know pretty doesn't make you go fast but why not do both.

If you're just trying to make it look good and a little flashier,
Gutting all the emissions crap is a good idea (if you haven't already), AC Delete if its a track car. Wire looms are always nice, and some nice valve covers. Other than that it's just wire management and paint.

I just wanted to state if we are going to have threads like this we need to keep the pictures forever hosted in this thread. Some of you have posted and gone back and deleted the picture from this thread. Please update your posts again with the picture. This is what makes it hard to keep TGO clean is because people make threads like this, then people post pictures for 3 days then remove them, so when people come in here all the pictures end up being deleted or no longer hosted, so another thread ends up getting started. Thanks guys.
Some nice bays on here.

Is that a CRP overflow tank. They are about $130 and I want one, but not sure if I want to spend the $130 on basically a box of sheetmetal. Let me know more about that tank.

its from canton. Its very nice, but a bit pricy, i think its more like 160 bux.
but it bolts right in, has a threaded connection for the overflow hose so you can use AN line if you want, it looks better than stock, and you dont have to cut anything
i really need a new pic of the engine bay, quite a few things have changed
I know the fuel line is a little ghetto... I'm gonna be redoing it soon. I was havin a problem with teh fuel boiling in the lines with my original line.
WAIT! is that completly stock tpi plenum? what freakin polish did you use it looks GREAT! was it hand or machine polished? my iroc's 305tpi looks NOTHING like tht and iv spent hours on trying to polish that thing. DAM!

Yea, I did it myself. Sanded it down starting at 400 grit and ending at 1000 grit. Then I took it to a buffing wheel using Tripoli, and finished using white rouge on a wheel.
I'm in the middle of working on mine to get it up and right... I've stripped the plenum and polished it and took off the serp brackets and polished them... but where do you guys get those individual wire looms for the center bolt... ? I need to pick me up some red ones.. this is the old pic.. sorry I dont have the newest one but I'll post it prob sunday

so far this is what I got as of yesterday.... still got a lot more to do but you can see where I'm heading... Haven't even touched the wiring yet or the coolant lines but i'm getting there

Hey guys. I yanked ALL the smog and A/C stuff off my engine and installed a new Weiand aluminum hi-output water pump, new radiator, and 195 T-stat with the torq flo standalone cooling fan switch. I don't need EITHER the smog or A/C up here in Wyoming. I said, "Screw the delete pulleys, as well." I don't see the point of those. I plugged the smog holes in the stock manifolds using little screw in black pipe plugs.
I did a new cap and rotor, new Accel Ferro Spiral wires, and NGK Iridiums. I still have to paint and install my headers--Hedman shorties-and new Hedman Y-pipe. As you can see, I haven't given the engine bay a good washing yet...it needs it. It's a tired 305, but it runs pretty strong. Oh, and the car used to be blue...ha.
man while you had all that off you should've cleaned the front of the motor and repainted parts that needed it or replaced them. Like the timing chain cover and the front of the heads.. just my opinion...

the car was sittin out in oregons weather with no protection for 5yrs and the engine was never washed until a couple months ago but theres still some dirt and pine needles and crap like that but doesnt look to bad for about a good 2hours total of washing and 10 hours of polishin. also the only products for polishin has been well rags and meguirs alminum polish and mothers aluminum polish no sandpaper used here and this all has been done by hand not machine. competly stock.
Yeah, I plan to do a lot of cleanup when I put new heads, cam, and intake on my engine. It'll look better, for sure.

i should have pictures coming soon, just had engine bay painted and motor is sitting as a rebuilt shortblock.
Its a white engine bay with an all black motor, top of the stealth ram, valve covers and timing cover are all polished. Got my accessory brackets sand blasted and going to paint them an aluminum colour. a/c and smog pump deleted. got a few clean up issues to figure out but it should look pretty good pretty soon.
