what finish are ROH RT wheels? - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

I got mine yesterday. They look like maybe unpolished aluminum. They are kind of a silver color, its definately not crome or polished aluminum. I need to know so I can choose the right cleaner/ polish.

'Satin'. I assume it's a paint with clearcoat but that's a complete guess.

do you think that you could polish these somehow? or at least get them shiny?

Yes, they look painted. I am sure they are aluminium since they are so expensive, so the only way i know to polish them is to remove the clearcoat and/or paint, and polish the actual aluminium.

If you want them shiny you ordered the wrong set. They are meant to be that way. ROH sells another RT wheel that is already shiny. Perhaps you need to return them and start over.

QwkTrip- is that the "black ice" RT you are refuring to. those are even more expensive. Does anyone really know what finish they are.
