I'm 16 and i'm new here. i bought an 86 camaro almost a year ago, and got it painted silver in january,it used to be a faded single stage coat of white paint which i sanded down by myself. the new paint looks great but the one problem is, parts of the car that you don't see until you open the door, hood, or trunk never got painted silver. so how much would it cost if i got the car painted a completley new color and asked for those unseen parts to be painted also? here some pics of what im talking about.

well its a tough one... This is why if a repaint a car, i do it in the same color, or close 2. Because if you change colors and if u want to do it right, EVERYTHING needs to be repainted, from the engine bay, door jams, rear deck etc...
If you looking for a good quality job it could run about 3grand and up.
But you can cut the cost by prepping the car urself. Like sanding, dismantling, more sanding, etc....I'd ask around your local shops.
I know the local paint store can take you paint color and mix up the same auto paint and press it into a spray can, so you can use it just like reg. spray paint. It wont be quite as glossy but if you tape off the outside and spray that on the jams and stuff it would look alot better than what u have. I want to say they charged me like $12-15 for a can. And one can will go a long way.

that is easy.
bull the interior out - all of the seats and carpets, every piece of plastic - NOT THE DASH - but take out the console. cover everything you dont want to paint and have a good time. there are not many things you will have to paint but at least it will all be done and there will be no other colors.
additionally you can take off the hood and cover the engine and other parts and go at it with the spray gun. you can just paint it black if you want. but dont forget the firewall where it meets the the lower window - that has to be silver too.
while you are at it - a little black paint in the wheel wells goes a long way to make it look clean.
you did a very good job - but if you want to make it perfect you have to put in the time. you should have done it that way the first time. there is never enough time to do it right, but there is always enough time to do it over.
but you did very good.
Not to rain on your parade but your car doesnt appear to be an IROC. You have IROC wheels and the rockers but the rest of the car looks like a sport coupe or Berlinetta.
Welcome to the site. As stated above to properly change the color of a car gets pretty involved.
If it were me I'd keep it the same color, and either take off the ground effects or find the other pieces to finish it off, and then start pressing forward on the mods or resto stuff that you would like to do.
great looking car, take it to macco, and have them match the color in those white areas, it shouldnt be much, jsut take all the stuff off that would be by the paint, sand it all down and then take it in there

He never said it was an IROC. He asked what to do about his paint. Your just a little off topic bud.
