I am glad you posted this. I am picking my 92 up today from the paint shop and was ebay window shopping yesterday for clear parking and turn signals. I wonder how they will look on my Black with Gold trim Camaro? For $60 I guess I can change and if I don't like I can change back. Looks great on your Silver thirdgen.

I'd guess they'll be wicked. Have you considered clear side marker lights as well? I ask because on my silver car, the orange looked hideous, IMO. Should you be interested in the look, check my Car Details before for a pic.

Yes I have. If I make the conversion I will do both parking and side markers. The orange currently work because I only have Gold as a trim but on Silver I can see how they look stupid. I really want to change because of the fresh paint and how the lights can "clean" the total apperance of the front end up.

Here is the front of my 92 on Memorial Day '09. It's been repainted since but you can see the need for new lites. Anytime the fogs lites look better than the driving /park lites you have a problem.

My headlights and parking lights are really bad, and I have no fog lights, how bad is that?

Re: How Much Will New Parking Lights Change the Look of Your Car?

I put bulbs in mine that are clear until the lights are turned on, then they become amber. A personal preference, but I prefer the cleaner look. I'm also running SilverStar headlamps.

I agree 100% clear side and parklights look sick. Pics in my vb garage and leave a comment!

Can I see other pictures of your Camaro. I don't get to see many Black/gold combos.

personnally, i prefer the clear fronts that have the division in them, not the newer clear one. more like the factory. i got mine from either hawks, or classic industries. can't remember. i have pics in my sig.

Yep. Both the GM version, of course, and the 1A repro that I review above have the division you speak of.

Cool. As always, an owner should go with his preferences. I prefer the OE because I enjoy the "sleeper" look.

I just bought that set and will be putting it on as soon as I receive it. 150 bucks for all clear lights is not a bad price....
