Picture request: 4th gen rear end with stock 3rd gen wheels
I am thinking about selling my ZR1's and tires to help pay for my T56 for my LS1 swap, and in order to do that I would have to put the stock wheels back on the car. I have a 10 bolt from a 2002 Z28, and I know they would stick out a little more than usual. Does anyone have a couple of good pictures that show just exactly how much the stock wheels would stick out on a 4th gen rear? I'm really curious...I'm thinking with a 500hp LSX under the hood with the stock wheels and virtually a 100% stock looking car it would make for a SUPER sleeper.

No way in heck I would spend that much money on the stock wheels. I hate the way they look but at this time I can really use the money for a tubular k-member. I'd like to get some chrome C5 Z06's later down the road with 11's out back.
Thanks for the pictures by the way!

93 to 97 rears are actually wider than the 98-02 both wider than stock but 93-97 being the widest i wanted one out of a 01 ws6 bad but has afraid to run my stock iroc wheels at what it would look like or even rub the top of fender with 4 people while cornering

They will rub when lowered - mine do - ESPECIALLY with 4 people in the car! But I'll never have 4 in mine - don't know 4 people I like that much! I'm running Eibach ProKit (1" drop), stock 16" wheels, and 245/50 R16 tires on a 1999 LS1 rear, and I will rub rarely with only 2 people (bad dips in road). And if I load like 80 lbs of camping gear or something, I'll rub.
I'm going to get some airbags for inside the coil springs soon, to help combat this, as I plan on a sub box as well, and that's going to be heavy also. It's not the outer fender that rubs, it's the lip up inside the edge - my last set of tires you could see a small cut in the rubber where I had rubbed a couple times - just about 1/2 inch in on the tread.
My RS looks just like the black IROC above as far as how the look is.
