My first 3rd gen, powdercoating?

so i recently bought my first 3rd gen, coming from the world of hondas i dont know much about these cars but im learning. But back to my point of my post Ive notice that the only thing on the exterior of my car thats lackin in appearance is the wheels. I was wondering what you all thought of having the wheels powdercoated black white or green? If i do black i plan on having the windows all tinted as well.

I also put some before and after pics of when i bought the car and detailed it. I used SwirlX for a polish followed by mother FX synwax. Did all the glass with SpotX. not sure if i can get much more shine from white. pics were taken with my phone because our nice camera has a busted lense.

That is what I did to my 11" Snypers. I used a crayon to mark what I wanted black, what I wanted left polished & included pics of the ones I wanted to match. Came out great!

Look around at http://www.omnipotent-goku.com/iroc/gallery/albums.php for pics.

Personally? I don't like solid black. IMHO, might as well just run black steel wheels, like the spare tire wheel. Solid black wheel on a black tire, looks so NASCAR & loses any definition of what you can see.

Agreed.

OP, I think your best bet is to find a set of 16 inch 91-92 wheels or IROC wheels. I dont like the 91-92 wheels much, but they seem to be cheaper than IROCs.

Don't let us talk you out of doing what YOU want to, to YOUR car.

As long as YOUR happy with your car, do what you want. We don't hafta like it. You'll be happier building what YOU like, rather than building it to make everyone else happy.

Re: My first 3rd gen, powdercoating?

I would not bother with those wheels. I would take off the graphics, tint the windows regardless of what the wheel color is, and get nice chrome wheels. Chrome Irocs would be cool, unless you really want to set yourself out from the crowd. GTA crosslace wheels in black would probably even look good. Those will set you back a pretty penny though.

Could someone photoshop the wheels in the 3 colors they guy wants......then he could make the informed decision on what looks the most like what he wants
