IMO it seems a lil out of portion to me,or maybe because it sits back kinda far it doesnt look quite right.Id rather the original aero wing personally..maybe its just the angle of the pic throwing me of but as long as you like it then im happy for ya.Show some more pics from beind, and how come it was so hard to install?

Haha putting a hatch from another car, on to yours and adjusting it is like pulling teeth.. You have to remove the sheet metal piece, and take off the old stuff.. blah blah blah, meaure, drill, reglue, straighten, measure.. It took like 3 hours.

Ive done many spoiler swaps on various cars from other cars.I dont see why you were having such a hard time.Taking the old spoiler off is easy to get the bolts out through the factory holes with the hatch open. Then depending on the spoiler your putting on if it doesnt use the same mounting holes you would weld the old ones closed on the outside sheet metal.measure, mark and drill the new mounting holes.from the inside of the hatch I used a hole saw to make new holes so that I can bolt the spoiler from the inside.Done
Im not knockin ya or anything. If it took 3hrs Im sure you were veru picky on the work being done...only want to do it once..and get it right. Is it atleast where you wanted it to be sitting?
Id like to see more distant and full shots of the car. Looks too big in that shot but it could just be the angle and thefact its only part of the car showing.
I agree..more pics would help out.The spoilers look very similar with the aero wing.Im just not a big fan of the overhang of how far back it is past the hatch itself.A lil less and I think it would look more sharp. When I did my aero wing on my old 86 transam I placed it about 1 inch past the hatch instead of flush from the factory and it looked really good to me.Slight differences like that are what I go for.
I changed the whole spoiler, sorry if I made myself sound like a pylon..
The previous hatch had an 86 brake light, and I hated it.. Because it's a '91 I had to do some wiring to get my safety, and avoid tickets and it looked like garbage.. So I did this!
EDIT: Here's some more pics, notice the extremely dirty back window... I also can't stand bad tint jobs.... What a PITA to get off..
The rear shot is at kind of an angle.. Again, I measured 30 times before I drilled..
Judging by this pic
....the posts could stand to have the bottoms shaved at a slight angle, so that it tilted slightly forward & the end pieces were more level with the quarter panel line.

Other than that, I think it looks good!
i agree, it looks really good, but would look better if it were more level. If you shave the base, like stephen suggested, the bolt holes would be angled and may be a problem though.

I'm afraid to take it off.. The old bolts stripped out and I had to use a tapcon/1/4 20 type thing from home depot with Epoxy...
seems almost like a blend of the high rise you find on the Z28s & the stock bird wing. A little tweaking (nothing that hasn't already been mentioned) and that thing could look amazing. Nice work

Yeah, when I pull it off the road in the fall, I've got some work to do... I was thinking about making some shims from Polyurethane and getting my brother to machine them for me.. Like an angled piece to replace the gasket. Just a few ideas.
You can also get angled washers from any bolt supply place. I agree with tilting the whole thing forward. In fact, right now, it may be causing a significant amount of lift at speed.

I may fly away..
In all seriousness, It feels slower now, than with the other spoiler...
