Nice car dude. BUT i'm not feeling the black out stuff. The rear maaaybe, but the not the headlights. BTW i seen some really cool blackout rear lights that were actually painted or tinted i guess?? looks much better than the covers.

Re: New Pic Of Rocksiroc

Three questions:
Where did you get your headlight covers?
Are they just tinted?
And how much did they cost?

I like your car! It looks great!

Other than the stickers all over it, I like it.

The SLP window banner is all right assuming it's quick enough.

Re: New Pic Of Rocksiroc

Well its pretty quick for a 305 pushing over 300 hp
and am going to run a 150 shot of spray soon
Has anyone tryed the DEI triple threat nitrous systems
They look interesting and am wanting to try it
Thanks for the good comments
I got the covers from summit and there gt styling
The tails fit with no modification but the headlight covers were another story had to do some fabrication to make them fit right and used sticky velcro instead of double sided tape so i could align them correctly
As for the stickers I like them and it shows that my car is not stock and every vendors sticker on my car i have parts by them

Re: New Pic Of Rocksiroc

It's your car so you can design it how you like.

Now with that said "I" would remove all of the stickers except for maybe the windshield one. It cheapens the look of the car. The only sticker you need on that car is the IROC sticker on the door. Those that know about these cars will see all then need when they see that IROC on the door. GM actually had these cars styled just right. I would move the stickers to under the hood. Unless they are paying me I won't advertise on the body of my car. Then again I like the sleeper look. You fill find out what I have in my car once I pass you by, not before we run.

I am a big fan of the factory IROC's (got some myself) and I think they look good on your car. I think that the tail light covers should be done with Niteshades paint. The look is killer and you won't get hassles from the Police. I have had both the front and back covers on my 86 (see my signature pic below) but now I think that style looks dated. Niteshades is painted on the actual lenses, is not expensive and gives a more sleek current look.

Look at the pic of your car from the front. You have a great Vanity plate but the sticker right underneath it takes away from the plate. Then you can see the two stickers on the bumper sides are not even at the same height so it looks off balance. Excuse me but I am an art major so I look at little stuff like that and then make a judgement on if they are right and in good taste. In art there is a saying "Less is more."

The beauty of our cars is we each can style them the way we want and make our cars look unique.

I remember almost coming to blows with the salesman over the dealership sticker they wanted to put on my new '87 IROC-Z! No freakin' way they're stickin' that POS on my new car! When I threatened to pull the deal with the dealership owner they agreed to keep it off! I knew they already had my trade-in sold and I was going to get my way in the end. Dorks!

I'm afraid I have to side with the other fella's. Ditch the stickers. Put them in the engine compartment or under the hatch lid. Other than that it's a nice lookin' car. Well done.
