okay before anyone starts slamming, I've gone through so many post and I know this feels like kicking a dead horse.
I starting this little project and would like to know about the wiring...does anyone have or can draw the schematic...I've read about resistors that need to changed, where would it be located....what about the stock harness...
and I've also read that a S10 box will work but with some modification.... how and where.
I've seen plenty of pic's with it installed but what about in process of
OK - take out A/C box - there are screws all around, but two at the bottom have to be removed from the inside - remove the lower dash cover on pass side, pull back carpet, and you'll see two heads that take a 10mm socket.
The resistors you'll see on the inside - they are resistors like you think - they are spring-looking coils. Like stated above, remove these, and put into the non a/c BOX.
Install non A/C box.
Plug connector to resistors like before.
Plug power wires to fan motor. If the box is older, might require you cutting power connector off and crimping on individual connectors for the pos and the ground.
