Tail light question

First off, thanks to Brennan (I'm borrowing your pic from your z28 painted thread... beautiful car sir )

Anyway, I'm looking for a tail light that is in the same vein as this:

Aka, it is flat and clean all the way across the light, but isn't smoked/tinted. Do such light's exist? Would they look dumber then I am imagining?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Tail light question

those are smoked tail light covers. they just cover the original tail lights. So to answer your question, no you can't get those clear.

Well, what I meant was, is there an aftermarket tail light that can accomplish what I'm looking for?

Re: Tail light question

I suppose you could get a clear taillight cover, but they are smoked to hide the ugliness of the lights. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/au...aillights.html (KLEARZ taillights) the link is for a thread on clear taillights that i know a few people have done.
