i got sick of looking at all the rust on my Bird, so i decided to paint her, finally. i did all the body work and prep myself, for the first time. i painted her myself, also for the first time. i set up a carport in my backyard as a makeshift paint booth. i used Rustoleum Auto primer and paint. i'm more than happy with the way it turned out. not as good as a professional paint job, but it looks a LOT better and there's no more rust, so i'm happy.
there are more pics in the link in my sig in the "Tiffany" album.

thanks for the feedback! it was time consuming to get the headlights to fit properly, but not difficult. it just took some ingenuity. and i was going for unique. figured no one else had done this before so why not give it a shot. i like the headlight conversion bc its more functional, and less non-aerodynamic. and i can't believe the paint turned out as nicely as it did. i've been getting nothing but compliments from friends and even strangers....and a lot of looks lol. i think the exhaust catches people's attention.
