How wide can I go.....?

I have figured out the wheels I am puttin on my TA, now Im into tire sizes for the front. THe front wheel is a 19x8, but the manufacturer(Bonspeed), says the wheel is more like a 9inch wheel. Do u think that with a 2" drop I could fit a 255/35/19 underneath the front corners and survive. Godspeed has 255/40/18 on his front end and his tire diameter is about the same as mine, plus he has coilovers that sit just over the rim and tire, which leads me to believe he is lower than just two inches. Just wanted to get some input from you guys before I went out and bought the tires. Thanks.

Re: How wide can I go.....?

You can do that easy as pie!

I'm running 275/40R17s, with ZERO mods to the wheel well. The tie rod end is less than a inch from the rim edge & if mine were 19s, I could run even deeper backspacing & go to a wider tire!

What is you plan for the rear wheels & tires?

I have 17x9" wheels wrapped in 285/40/17 tires up front and I have a 3+" drop, I think you'll manage.
