I would just like to see different colors of peoples engines so if you have pictures of your engines please post the picture and what color or even who its made by thanks.
I don't have a pic - but I have to share (even though it's shameful, it's too funny).
The guy I bought my 350 block from wanted to paint the block after he built it. But he didn't want to BUY paint - so he looked around the shop, and found a can of paint labeled "Porche Red" - so he used it. Turns out it really said FUCHIA RED - which turns out to be PINK!
So, I have a pink block.
My brother got me pink Taylor-Made Spiro-wound igniyion wires to match.
I'll stick to the line " A REAL man can wear pink".
wow dude. um I really dont know if I would have shared that If I were you.. But I guess you gotta be able to laugh it off, cuz I would have murdered someone if they painted my built engine princess pink.

my thoughts , and what i have used on many engines . i prefer a light gray color . many say that shows small , oil leaks , coolant leaks , etc. . well if i have any of the above i want to know about them . just my thoughts & the way i do things . good luck .

Lmao.....I'm sorry but I gotta say this. I'm not trying to make fun or anything. But I'm a female.....and I'm not even going to put one drop of pink or purple on my car lol. I just found that alil ironic...but hey guys can rock the pink if they want to do it right.
There is a guy down here at the lake that has a yellow third gen with a purple, green, and yellow engine bay. It is one of the goofiest things I have ever seen in a third gen. The thing is a beast though, I guess if you have the power he does then you can paint the engine anyway you want. (Its a 454 i believe). I am going with orange, black, and chrome. Because of the high price for center bolt valve covers I am in the process of paintin them orange then having one of my friends make me either a chevy eblem or the simply CHEVROLET out of vinyl, then i will put it on there and cover the whole thing with black then peel off the vinyl and clear it to get black and orange valve covers.
