Where can you get a waterproof car cover for a 91 Camaro? Nothing fancy just cheap and reliable

I noticed Hawks had one but I was trying to spend less

Re: Car cover

while most covers are water resistant, the do still breathe and will let rain in. If you're looking to go the less expensive route, grab a decent cover and put a tarp over it. You'll get the protection of the cover (dust, dirt, scratches, etc) with the waterproof strength of the tarp. Not really pretty, but does the job.

I got a cover for my Firebird from Empire Covers. They give ratings for all their covers for how well it protects the car in four different categories, including sun. And there are always coupon codes floating around for that site.

http://empirecovers-review.blogspot.com

Not sure if you want to go to the trouble of covering the whole car every time you park though. I think the sunshade would be a lot easier.

Thanks man, I think I'll probably order one of those. A sunshade would do me no good, see for yourself lol

Re: Car cover

I got my car cover from kragon and it is reailble for me. I pour some water on it and it just flows off the car cover and does not wet the car. But if the mist that comes at night shows up and I have the car cover on it will leave trace on my car. But overall it it okay for me.

Re: Car cover

@Ethan91 - if you are looking best and cheaper car covers like breathable and 100% water resistance, than you must have a check at covercraft, that's the best place you will see more assortments thingy.

Re: Car cover

The waterproof covers Empire sells are very nice. I have two for my cars. They are very water repellant and strong. But, the car will get wet in a heavy soaking or prologed rain. The other issue i have seen is the summer sun will deteriorate it over time

Re: Car cover

I went to walmart and bought mine. It is better than I thought it was, is water proof, keeps dust out, and breathes. Can be used in or outdoors. It has the entire bottom made out of elastic to keep the cover on the car.

For $20 I couldnt beat it. The name brand is budgelite. I went with one size larger than the back of the box reccomended. it fits like a glove.

Edit... I got size 4 due to my car having the large spoiler, fits nice and snug.

Re: Car cover

I will go and take a pic of the cover on the car, and the box for anyone who is interested. It also comes with a bag for the cover to go in once its not being used, and a antenna pouch.
