Hi all. Have a quick question about whats a good carbon fiber paint to use for my air cleaner housing, cover, and air dam (the thing that runs from the housing to the front of the hood)?
I would like to get that shiney carbon fiber look if possible. Any tips are welcome! BTW I have a 91 Camaro 305 tbi.
you can't get carbon fiber paint, you could use a silver with black flake or opposite. carbon fiber from paint comes as a technique of a black base or silver, then throwing some net on it and painting your other color on top of that.

You could you trust me on this. Seen it done. Fishnet of girls panty hoses. the fishnet kind and spray. Looks ridiculous using it but comes out freaking awsome. unless there is another way i know of this way only
There is a program called Muscle Car, it airs on Spike TV. They showed how to replicate the carbonfiber look using drawr liner as a stencil. You could probably look for it on youtube. they did this on "Project street fighter" a cuda. They showed how to lay down the paint. It was pretty cool.
