I have the Hawks spoiler on my GTA. The quality is good, but my fit is bad on the right side. You have to drill holes for mounting on the arms, Install is a pain in the ***...
I was going to say too, the pre drilled holes on the bottom for the brake light did not line up either. I could only use one, and I had to use double sided tape on the other side because I couldn't drill a new hole.. It did come with gaskets and stuff to put over the holes. Overall I was not too impressed, mainly with the fit. for $400 I would expect perfection.. But what are you gonna do when there is only one place to get them from.
No I didn't. I fit it on the car, and thought it would be easy to bend and put on. It was not until it was painted that I noticed most of the stuff wrong with it. I am still happy with it I guess, Its my fault for not tightening it down on the car to see if it was ok. It is super light, I had to put a set of regular spoilerless firebird struts on the hatch so I could push down the hatch without an upper body workout. It looks good, you cant see the fit problems, unless your looking of course from specific angles. I still will be purchasing from Hawks, Their customer service is great. I am sure they would have done something before I painted it..
