I am currently polishing my superram... what was the best way to go about sanding it? Mine has alot of pitting in it.

Also, whats wrong with the block?
Start with a stripping pad on a drill and work your way up to 800 grit. the shortblock has 80k miles on it and some lines on the cylinder walls I can catch my finger nail on. Most importantly its not a 383
