Who might want the infamous 4th gen hockey stripes? I've started talking to this graphics company who I bought pace car decals for my moms 04 Monte Carlo and they might work on some hockey stripes that would fit the 3rd gen camaros body style better then jus slapping on the 4th gen ones (kinda the same idea as sinister z has on his. If anyone else is interested let me know and I'll talk to them if there's enough people.
I'd possibly be interested in a white set, depending on the price. It would be one of those things where if it was cheap enough I would do it just to see how it looks, and if I didn't like it I would take them back off with no worries because it was so cheap to do it in the first place.

Yeah I'm not going to get them if ther exspensive ether. I payed 70 fer the pace car flag decals for the Monte. That's cheap to me cus I usauly see them fer 125+ so I'm hoping it'll b round that. Specially since it's less detailed then the Monte Carlo one and also less pieces.
would have to see a set before committing to buying....but would be interested in a flat black set.
would try and do a cross between the 4 gen and 5 gen hockey stripe but closer to the 5gen....cut to match lines of our car http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam..._Install5a.jpg
I would like the long hockey stripe in black that would be b*tchin

Sorry I haven't replied guys. I've been busy getting stuff together to get my RS in the body shop but just so you know I haven't forgot about you guys. I had a company that said they would try and work on it but it's been two weeks and haven't heard anything from them. So going to tap into some of my connections and talk to my teacher who I'm still good friends with and see if he knows any places. He's owned a auto body shop and obv teachers auto body for the state so he knows what good qaulity stuff and he has alt if connections. So when he hopefully gets back to me with some local places I'll go out and talk to them. And possibly bring my camaro over when she's done and have them take measurments and what not.
To answer one of the questions yeah I want to do a combo between the 4th and 5th gen mix. I feel the 5th gen has more straight lines and what my like our cars compared to the more rounded state of the 5th gen.
If anyone would like to help I could use a base picture of a camaro. Like something black and white. Like a sketch picture or something someone made in paint. It has to be anatomically correct cus I'm going to sketch out some stripe ideas and maybe post th up here for people to vote on.
I will be working on this but I have alot of other things going on to like moving to a new place an all so it may take a little but I will find something
UPDATE! Finally a new update. I found a place 5 minutes from where I work and I emailed them asking them if they could they. I finally got an email back saying that they can do that and she just wanted me to send her pictures of what I was looking for and they would come back with a pricing. I told them I can bring my car in for any measurments needed and I also mention that if the price was fair enough that other people (my friends of thridgen.org) would be interested in purchasing a set if they would like to further there business more. Let's hope the prices are fair because i'd love a set for my newly painted camaro. More updates to come!
let us know what you find out.. I could always ask a buddy of mine that owns a decal shop and I know he could get them made.. however things are always more expensive here in Canada AND shipping into the US always costs more too..

Hey guys, I just saw this thread yesterday. I own my vinyl decal company. Just a part time small home business. I am going to try and design some stripes for you guys. And since I don't have the license to sell GM products, I will design the stripes from scratch. I've been kind of busy lately, but I've been wanted to do this for a while now. I'll see what I can come up with. If you would like any custom vinyl decals made, please email me: SkullzRacing5@yahoo.com .. or visit my portfolio and myspace... www.NicolasTobin.com www.Myspace.com/N.T.Designs
I am working on the stripes, just trying to get everything perfect. I am also designing outline designs for anyone looking to mock up paint schemes, custom mods, etc. Would anyone be interested in buying them? I will post samples of the designs if anyone is. Views include: Front, Back, Driver, Passenger, Top. The designs are to help 3rd Gen owners mock up their own custom mods, paint schemes, graphics, etc. Each view took me 10 - 15 hours to design to ensure accuracy.
File Types will include:
.AI (Adobe Illustrator) - 100% fully customizable & able to be edited in any way.
.EPS - Edit using Adobe CS Software.
.JPEG - Fill in color using ANY photo editing software.
Prices:
$25 each individual side.
$100 all sides together.

you guys would probably be better off talking to him. around where i am i cant find alot of places that will do it and some of them are complete *******s. the one shop that i like the people are awesome and everything anf they do realllllly good work but they quoted me $300 installed. thats obviously an installed price so it may be around $200 for just the stripes. there really cool so maybe after how i see they come out on mine wouldnt want you guys getting anything bad ill talk to them about making them for you guys maybe a little cheaper. BUT theres also this. these guys use like top grade 3M vinyl which is why its more exspensive then the shitty vinyl. its not the cheap stuff so its gunna last for awhile. hopefully this coming week ill have it done and ill post pics up so stay tuned. this may not be a price for someone who just wants to try them but if you know you want them this may be reasonable for you.
