Amazing. I thought that was Sunset Orange Metallic (2001-02 F Body color) at first. Excellent choice, get some sweet wheels on it and drop it 1.5-2 inches now

Oh, and I've Zainoed a Prowler that color and a Viper that had a color change to that. They turned out really well, the polish really brings out the metallic. Try it, 7 days after new paint.

Very nice color, looks great on a thirdgen. I don't mean this as a flame but, I'd question a $5,000 paint job that was done with the bumper covers in place. Don't you still need flex agent in the paint for the soft plastic body parts? Not to mention the different expansion rates of steel and plastic. I've seen many paint jobs crack in the seams where the two different materials meet because they weren't painted separately. I haven't been in the body/paint scene since the late eighties so maybe things are different now, new materials etc. Again, I didn't mean this as a flame. Your car looks great.

wow man. i wetsand and buff cars all day everyday. and all i can say is WOW.

and i do agree with one of the other guys. they are charging you $5000 for the paintjob and body work and they didnt dissamble it. i had everything dissambled and stripped then painted DUPONT FLAME RED 8774GM# and it was only $3600. nice color though. i wish i would have gotten a custom job. but that is why you live and learn. i will next time.

and are you planning on painting your engine bay? just curious, not flaming you.

its pretty high 'cause I needed two fenders fixed/replaced, had some rust and the dreaded chipping so the whole car was taken down to bare metal. Im not sure about new paint systems and flex agents and all that but I trust this guy he is really freakin awesome, he's had people ship cars cross country to do them, he mostly only does hot rods its called top Notch Body Works in Quakertown, PA

I might do the bay eventually, but I'v been w/ out my car almost all summer between putting in the 350 and exhaust and all, 3 weeks for the body work, and I didnt want to spend to much more then he had all ready quoted me on.

Oh yeah. Most of the car was dis-assembled I think about the only thing left on was the bumper covers. obviously the mirrors and door handles, hood, hatch, spoiler, and all that was removed
