Hey guys. I am thinking of re-painting my car, since it does still have the factory paint on it. I was wondering what everyone thinks of painting my Camaro blue again with the GranSport striping, like the blue vette next to mine in the pic. I am talking about going with blue again, but adding the center white stripe and the two red sash marks to the driver's fender. If someone wanted to photoshop that for me, I would appreciate it. Here are some pics to play with.
Well, the red sashes are there for a reason. Back in the day of actual GranSport racing, Chevrolet had 3 Corvettes running on the track at the same time. They all had the same paint job, but one of them had 1 sash, one had 2 sashes, and one had 3 sashes. That was done so they could tell them apart.
white stripes maybe. but your car is kinda a sleeper with no stripes and stuff. if i paint it. dissamble it. but i think the car looks great in the pics. but in person is a totally different story.
Usually im not into stripes and all that. But, the Grand Sport is like one of my fav cars. If you want that...go with it. The actual blue from the grand sport is awesome too
I would'nt go with the stripes...try and keep it classy just really good paint job.. try a different hue blue....you may just like it....If *** wanted Camaros with Stripes he would put them on there in the first place

Except he isn't talking about stripes like mine. I still haven't decided whether I like the GS striping idea or not. That GS shade of blue is real sweet though. And m3baller, I thought you said you liked my car...
CarNdriver, bro, stick with solid GS blue, no stripes. Everybody and their dog has stripes. Solid GS blue with your wheel centers powdercoated graphite would kick so much *** .
A corvette paint job on a camaro seems extremely cheesy to me. To me, the Grand Sport is the holy grail of General Motors splendor, but to paint your Camaro like that is like putting an ugly chick in a bikini. She may get you excited, but no matter how long you stare, she just ain't right.
