I'm not sure about other states, but here in Pa. they have people at PENNDOT that read all the choices for custom plates. They not only look for english, but also have people translate other languages, spanish etc. I guess someone tried to get some bad words in another language.

Here in New Mexico we are only required to have a rear license plate, but a friend of mine has one of those "fake" ones on the front that says "MOVE" spelled backwards so you can read it if you are looking in your rear-view mirror. He doesn't have a 3rd Gen, but it is an 11-second 2003 Mustang GT.
Another friend of mine who is stationed over in Germany right now has a 10-second 87 Buick Grand National with "Sinister" on his plate. It was awsome when he first got there and we were able to put it on the Autobahn...let me tell you! Damn that car was fast.

I my v6 is the onfir3 one. how about that false badging for ya? its a firebird formula v-6 chasis with a 350 in it.. good stuff. Even says formula on the doors, like the fiero did. :-D

The term “zed” is used to indicate the letter Z.
This is useful in forms of communication that might
be garbled. In static filled communication Z might sound
like other letters that rhyme with it.

they’d be going backwards.” .

I picked "A RUSSH" from the Crowbar song
"Oh what a feeling oh what a rush"
3rd geners know the feeling well.
1/4 mile rush; apex cutting rush;
decelerating from illegal speed rush.
LOL
Would have liked A RUSSSSH but the limit on
letters back then was 6.
